No I Was Born Dream

I was born!, also known as Moon Baby in the first English dub[1] (Russian title: Лунный Гость), is the first episode of the first season of the animated series, published by «Melnitsa». It is the series premiere and is the very first episode of the animated series.

The plot[]

The episode starts with the background of space, along with an asteroid being seen. The moon appears on the screen, later revealing a mysterious purple egg on there. Not long after, the egg cracks, and Moonzy, who doesn't have a name yet, hatches from said egg, exclaiming the episode's name, at which point he then literally falls down to Earth and into a pond there, excitedly making bubbles in it.

However, Giles Gudgeon comes up to him and orders him to be quiet, scaring him. Both of them have a conversation. However, believing something is grabbing him, Moonzy suddenly freaks out and runs away, all after he is puzzled about what his name is, after Giles questions him. He then rolls into the house of Tina Turtle. A disturbed and provoked Mr Crayfish angrily calls Moonzy a «hooligan».

Moonzy playing with a «shell».

Giles reaches up to Tina's house and has a conversation with her, trying to convince her about a water tiger. She doesn't believe him and then goes back inside her house, without any other response or second thought whilst Moonzy sleeps on her bed. Without knowing he is in her house, Tina accidentally sits on Moonzy. She freaks out and hides in her shell, scaring and waking up him, who goes up to her and repeatedly presses her boot, opening her cap and amusing him. He then looks inside the «shell», trying to get acquainted with it. However, after he kindly asks to bang on Tina, she exaggeratedly freaks out again, scaring Moonzy out of the house as he believes that another «water tiger» is in the house.

As he runs away from the misunderstood scene whilst several fish dodge him, he bangs into a wall and sees the moon. He then tries to get back to it and uses a rock that Mrs Leech was sleeping under, scaring her away. Moonzy finds some black fishes and accidentally scares them away. Meanwhile, Mrs. Leech is having a conversation with Tina Turtle about the water tiger, regarding it as worse than it really is. Because of Moonzy, the black fish cause a turmoil at Tina's house. However, Moonzy doesn't seem to care and still proceeds to get back to the moon, scaring one other fish in the process.

However, upon reaching out of the water, Moonzy does not have an ultimate opportunity of getting back to the moon, but just sees his reflection in the pond and looks at the night sky, at which point the episode ends.

I was born.
Okay, I'm falling!
This isn't bad.
But where am I falling?
It's so wet here!
I can make bubbles!
Quiet, you!
Or else you will wake the pike up!
Wow, who are you?
I am Giles Gudgeon. Thank you very much.
The real question is who are you?
I'm not sure… but…
Something's got hold on me!
Hooligan
That was weird…
Who has opened my door?
Well, it wasn't me.
Good evening.
I was just accosted by someone's oversized offspring.
Probably water tigers tried to steal mister Harmed's shell. Luckily I was there to had heroically caught him.
It's soft.
Really nice! I made it dark??
Stop. No water tiger could do that,
Now good day sir.
I'm telling you the truth: there is a hooligan about.
Are you alive?
I am.
Oh, you haven't hatched yet?
No.
Do you want me to bang on your shell, so it'll go ahead and break sooner?
Help, Giles!
Water tiger baby! Water tiger!
Water tiger! Water tiger! Water tiger!
Oh, the moon!
Who is in there?
Hey, wait, who are you?
It was a huge water tiger!
Disgraceful! Moving rocks late at night, what a menace!
Yes, yes! Super menace!
Water tiger attack!
Good. I'm getting here.
