Ants is a paramilitary society with strict hierarchy and discipline, divided into regiments and composed entirely of ants.
Appearance[]
Most ants look like two peas in a pod. They are all small and brown in color. They are similar in build to real ants, but have two arms and two large legs (four limbs in all, not six). Private soldiers wear gray clothing, while commanders wear blue.
Activity[]
They get up very early, have no games, and eat only porridge. Any deviation from the work schedule must necessarily be confirmed by the commander. In the series "Ants" Moonzy and Skip want to live with the ants for one week, but they can't stand two days. Such a life, of course, is interesting, but you need to prepare for it in advance. The ants are constantly busy preparing supplies and building various structures. In the series "Real Team" they play soccer against Moonzy's team. In everything they obey the commander of the ants. Sleep on schedule in separate rooms on two-story beds. All the time to complete the anthill. In the series "Anthem" and "Poems for the holiday" shows that some ants are fond of singing.
Every day is made shortly after dawn through the signal of the horn and the auxiliary participation of drummers morning formation on the plateau and number calculation, immediately after - morning exercise - short intensive training and cold shower pouring a bucket of water on the head, after which - breakfast, distribution of porridge on plates in turn, according to seniority, and eating according to the time limit, after which the distribution of tasks given to squads of twelve to fifteen ants. Consecutive work is done for the rest of the day, with breaks for lunch and dinner. After sunset, without the signal of the horn, is announced the departure, at which time return to the anthill to the sleeping quarters.
Special ants[]
Not all ants are the same. For example, you can often spot commander ants wearing blue clothing in the animated series.
In the series "Crane" appears an ant-carpenter, who wears a green apron and works with wood. Also in this series appear chef ants, wearing a white apron and a chef's hat. These ants cook porridge and call ants for lunch. Possibly being female, their voices resemble those of the young drummer ant, another unique ant. Another chef ant appears in the Ants series, but he is not unlike a regular ant, and is voiced by Oleg Kulikovich.
In the series "Regulator" appears an Ant-regulator, controlling the traffic at the intersection.
Personality[]
They are constantly busy with something and obey their commander. They like orders, although sometimes they can overdo them, as in the episode "Forest Patrol, where their rules interfered with everyone, but Mr. Diggins, Granny Annie and Grandpa Stringer explained them that you do not need to spoil what is already well arranged.

- The number of ants in the society is 114 (Ants series). Each of them has a number except perhaps the commanders.
- In the Big Beetle series, they spoke with a different voice.
- Sometimes the ants do take a break from their work. For example, in the Power of Charm series, they fly a kite.
